TOUR DE FAUX DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES AND SCHEDULE

Basic Faux I

• Learn: Basics of taping and preparing walls; Techniques and terminology of faux.
• Techniques to be learned: Sponge; Tissue; Leather; Colorwash; Limestone.

Basic Faux II  (Prerequisite: Basic Faux I)

• Build on faux and basic technique.  Add texture and stencils.  Learn to add layers of plasters and ‘tools of the trade’.
• Techniques to be learned: Denim; Exposed Brick; Tone-on-tone.

Stenciling

• Learn to do Glazes and Plaster with Relief Look.  Stencil with Acrylics to look like Watercolor Paintings.

Class size limited to eight persons
